vargas should take on at least 2 more fights before he even thinks about taking on de la hoya or trinidad

If Vargas would have fought De La Hoya, Trinidad, Hopkins, Mayorga, or any other top class fighter instead of Joval he would have been ko'd. Sure your gonna be rusty after a 15 month layoff but he should have put Joval away in 6 rounds or less. Joval had zero power or hand speed and went the distance with Vargas. Even when Joval hit Vargas cleanly after that one bad low blow it had barely any effect on Vargas. Vargas will have to have a good showing if he wants a big fight.
