mayweather is not a ppv king. last 3 fights are marquez, who has more fans that bought ppv, hatton, same again, and de la hoya, same again. mayweather contributes to the numbers, but in reality its his opponents that bring in the larger percentage of ppv buys.

Dude, Manny fought the exact same fighters as Mayweather in his last 3 fights and he didnt come anywhere close to the numbers Floyd pulled in. Use your common sense. It's not rocket science.

We're talking about who's the bigger draw and the numbers speak for themselves. But to your terrible point, Mayweather wouldnt be the biggest cashcow in boxing today if he wasnt entertaining and his performances in the ring are nothing short of incredible. You obviously know nothing about boxing. Stick to watching 24/7 and leave debating the intricacies of the sport to people who have been watching it since before Pacquiao became well known..

So, why did all three fights sell more with Mayweather than with Pacquiao?

                  Please explain that. Thank you.

But for those of you who are still under the delusion that Pac is the biggest draw, his fight with Cotto will be the nail in the coffin for that arguement. Cotto is a much bigger draw than Piss mouth Marquez is and i anticipate that Mayweather/Marquez will still crush them in PPV buys just like they did to the UFC that same night.

Between Money Mayweathers dominance over Pac in PPV buys and the fact that Pacquiao almost died in the ring fighting Marquez (twice) where as Floyd toyed with him for 12 rounds, it's amazing that Bob "I have no soul" Arum has the nerve to deny Mayweather a 60/40 split if they ever meet. Floyd has proven himself to be the biggest thing in boxing (both skill and PPV wise) time and time again and it would be criminal to see him get anything less then a 60/40 split with an overrated product of the HBO hype machine like Pacquiao.

But that aside, who do you think will sell more? Mayweather vs Marquez or Manny "I'm not in control of my own destiny" Pacquiao vs Cotto?
To be honest, PBF can have that PPV crown. PPV must be an important factor now. tsk tsk tsk.

I can appreciate P4P arguments much better though.
