    Mormeck-Maddalone Set; Jackiewicz-Rodriguez; Ruiz-Serin

Polish welterweight Rafael Jackiewicz, IBF # 3, takes on Delvin Rodriguez, IBF # 4 on November 28 in Elk, Poland, in what his promoters at Bullit Knockout say is a final IBF eliminator. Spots one and two are vacant in the IBF ratings. [details]

The Polish promoter must've put up a hell of a purse bid for Jackiewicz-Rodriguez to land in Poland.

All credit to Rodriguez. He could easily remain tucked away at home, where he's become a bit of a regional draw. Instead, his third road trip in five fights, this being his second outside of the US and in his opponent's home country.

funny how Botha mentions this last fight and the fight with Lewis as the two fights he was the most unhappy with. I guess being knocked out by Mike Tyson was a positive career achievement.

I don't know what he expects really. He's 41 and he's never been in good shape. He should be happy he didn't lose.

He said he wan't happy with his performance there.

With Tyson he was doing good till he got KO'd.It wasn't a bad performance.

Mormeck is a bit small for HW.

speaking of Cruiserweights ... what ever happened to O'Neil Bell? I though he was planning a move up to Heavy as well.

Maddalone is a small heavyweight so there won't be too much size difference.

maddalone is a tough guy & decent undercard trialhorse.he comes to fight everynight & likes to exchange in the middle of the ring but unfortunately he has fringe talent at best.fun to watch though.mormeck has to win or he should retire...anyone remember the 2 good maddalone/minto fights? great action for a couple of midcard heavyweights.

botha is a decent fighter even at 41.he'll make his money nowadays in south africa but i enjoy watching him.his only 4 losses are to tyson, lewis, moorer,& wladimir klitschko.lewis is the only guy who destroyed him.he was shutting out tyson until he got caught,he was in wlads face all night & gave him a good run,& lost a 12 rounder to michael moorer.hes been in some excellent fights over the years & got more out of a limited arsenal than any other heavyweight i can remember.never backs up & fears no one.he always went right after his opponent no matter who he was.class act out of the ring minus the steroid issue.he had a gut even then...LOL! id like to see him fight maskaev, toney, mccall,or any other aging, past their prime name heavyweight.i always liked botha.
