you know i think there was not only a language barrier between roach and pac but roach was irritated with all the leeches around them. which made it hard for pac to listen to him. pac doesnt make enough adjustment in the the ring.

When MAB was beaten by EM on their first encounter, who thought that MAB will still emerged as the winner (2 wins against Em to be exact).

Now EM defeated PACMAN, with out excuses I greatly accept the defeat as a PACMAN fan.

But in my own opinion, for EM prove that he is the better fighter, go for the rematch and defeat PACMAN again. By then, thats the only time that I will say EM is the better boxer.

Thanks Palma! Alot of the guys off the Pinoy threads are bud's..so maybe thats why it bothers him when I post something like that?? It's harder to 'like me' or whatever when I say something negative about their guy..but Kepsy and Jomapac do it just fine..theyre used to my views on this subject, and dont hold it against me. (In no way implying that this guy is a bud..I'm not too familiar with his name, and for all I know he may hate my guts! )

Seems you can't accept that the fight was won by the better fighter/boxer. Erik has proven he is a better fighter than Pac, by beating him. Many Pac fans accept this fact, but then there's the Rematch Club that won't give Erik the win in that first fight. Sad.

This is a good post. Roach's advise to Pac was simple ... "don't back up, move forward". That's Pac's one-dimensional chance, his best chance, at beating the top-tier guys. he might get counter to death, but moving forward and throwing bombs at break-neck speed is his only hope.

Pac got to where he is with speed, power and moving forward (i.e. lunging). He can't expect to suddenly become a boxing tactician like Morales and Marquez.
