    Jermain Taylor seemed scared!

I’m sad to say so and maybe (read hopefully) it’s just me, but my general impression from Jermains fight against Arthur Abraham is that he seemed dangerously afraid of getting hit. Not from the outside, since he seemed to gain some confidence as he managed to keep AA at bay, but alas he never got momentum in the fight, because every time AA started hitting back, Jermain looked really frightened, which seemed to push Abraham forward.

I honestly think he would have won the fight, had he not been so anxious and scared of getting hit.

Don’t get me wrong, I think all sane boxers should have sound respect for AA’s power, but there’s a huge difference between having respect to downright being afraid.

I’m a big fan of Taylor, but I believe a scared fighter is a done fighter.

I think that JT only had a lot of respect for AA's punching power. If you're being honest - wouldn't you have a lot of respect and be at least a bit afraid to get hit by one of the AbraHammers? I would...his power is really destructive...he needs a licence for it.

No, the one who seemed scared was Andre Dirrell.

AA could not have threaded that punch any cleaner than he did. It was a perfect punch right down the pike.

There's a rather large difference between not wanting to get hit and being scared of getting hit wouldn't you say?

I am not sure if he was scared but getting knock out a few times will def have an effect on you mentally, I thought he looked tentative at times in there.

He wasn't scared. He was just cautious of Abraham's power, as everyone should be.

The issue was though it made it worse for him because he refused to sit down on his punches in the fight. He showed the signs of a shell shocked fighter. Once they reach that stage, it is all over.

He made things much easier for Abraham. They should never have put him in there coming off a knockout loss. He has no confidence at all.

It has a little to do with his swellings. First rounds Taylor looks bad ass, but after his eyes were swelled he looked like a teddybear
