Didn't we just hear that Abraham/Dirrell is possible for the day before this doubleheader in the same venue?

bob arum basically just messed the gamboa vs jaunma fight up. something is going to go wrong. these two should be fighting right now. he wants to match jml vs gamboa in new york for the puerto rican parade weekend but both of them have dangerous fight.

Does this count as a Mexican vs Puerto Rican Rivalry? or do we wait to see who wins, then say if it counts or not?

Better for boxing fans that they meet up at 126, don't you think.

And btw, genius, Juanma will be facing the the number 2 ring-ranked fighter at 126 for his first fight. Yeah, just like Chavez Jr....Apparently ignorance is not bliss for you, it just makes you irrational.
Luevano still sucks. So I guess Baldomir was good because he was ranked #1 at 147? I don't care what anybody says. Here the Ricans are justifiying Juan Ma fighting this powder puff puncher when then they say that Santiago got robbed against him.

STFU Luevano is lights ahead a better boxer than Caballero, your beef is that Juanma aint fighting Cabllero, well why Mosley said he dont want to fight Williams then? Double standars much?

WTF dude? Why are you bringing two fighters from a different weight division into this conversation? I've bashed Mosley plenty of times for not fighting Paul Williams. Arum is matching Juan Ma up with a guy with zero pop. If he had any confidence in the guy he'd make an all Puerto Rican match up with Santiago and Juan Ma. I'll believe Juan Ma will fight Gamboa when I see it.

I also agree with you that Cab will look like a hypocrite if he doesn't fight Poon. But does that still change the fact that Lopez let Cab punk on him and disrespect Puerto Rico?

You can opine whatever you want. The point is that Juanma is moving up in weight class and is facing one of the champions. Who did you want him to fight first? Chris John? Cristobal Cruz? Jorge Solis? Mario Santiago? Obviously your answer will be Caballero and his time will come. But Juanma is def. stepping up in competition. I have absolutely no problem with this. Have Caballero defeat one of the other champions and then they can unify at 126. Patience bro.

juanma and gamboa will stop their opponents late or get a decision.

I don't think Cab could beat Santiago and Gamboa-Cab is a closer more unpredictable fight than that (I'd favor Gamboa slightly over Cab). But that's not the point. If Cab unified a belt at 126, Juan Ma would just move up to 130 and be a two division ducker. Lol.

Mtagwa can surprise Gamboa, not only to beat him, but he can KO him. In the other hand Juanma has a less dangerous fight against Luevano. Like another fan say, Bob Arum is jeopardizing the fight between Lopez and Gamboa.
