you do realize that pryor won the 140 belt AFTER duran beat leonard at 147, and had about 13 fights when duran left 135

I think Holyfield is up there with the bravest and most courageous fighters ever.

With guys like Ali, Frazier, Gatti, Robinson, Duran.......

Really every fighter is brave, cowards don't get into the ring

And yeah I wanna give Jermain Taylor a mention too. He fought everyone, he lost to Kelly then rematched him and nearly won. Then he got brutally Ko'd by Froch and then went straight into a tournament with other top fighters including Froch. The loss to Abraham was nasty but I think he should go ahead and fight Ward who isn't really that dangerous a puncher, just to see where Jermain is at.

But yeah, lots of resilience shown by Jermain, his time at the top has been pretty short and already looks to be ending, but the quality fighters he has faced has to be respected. Anyone who has two wins (very close ones but still) over Bernard Hopkins is without a doubt an excellent fighter. And anyone who continues to carry on after bad losses as Jermain has recently is definitely one brave fighter.

Gatti probably, because he had nothing to lose.

Joe Frazier would of died in the ring if he had to, he would of pushed himself that far to win, he also fought most his career with one good eye.

Most fighters say they will fight to the death but no many actually back it up, Frazier was not far off that in a couple of fights.
