I know. You right about that and I stated that in my 1st post so you know I ain't makin an excuse for VK. Point I'm makin is VK, brave, foolish, or whatever you wanna call it was not done fightin. JCC-Taylor, Pea-Hurtado, Froch-Taylor, those were KO wins in fights they were losin that can't be called 'lucky escapes.' The scorecards ain't matter cuz somebody was gettin KTFO in the next 2 rds in this fight. I think it was gonna be LL. I'm just sayin LL ain't finish VK, the doc finished him. Not discreditin LL's win by no means. It was a gr8 fight and speaks well for him to have won a short notice fight that was brutal when he wasn't in top form. But in the context of your thread title, this win was a lucky one, simply cuz the doc decided for the fighter it was over when he was still ready to go.
Lennox Lewis did NOT get lucky against Vitali

vitali is a great fighter but he is lucky that lewis wasnt prepard. if he had won, lennox would come back hungry and take vitali's eye out and eat it like a zuluComment

i agree with you, your my friendhaha the racist ***** makes a counter thread
I will OWN you haters again!
THE TRUTH
Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round, was getting outlanded and was hurt again later in the fight.
punches landed
Vitali 156
Lewis 102
Lewis was exhausted and worn down from the accumulation of punches, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission that night and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.
All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and boo'd Lewis after the fight. Vitali was the real winner of that fight, he battered Lewis into retirement.
Lewis promised Vitali a rematch
Vitali destroyed Johnson in 2 and the scared Lewis retired like a coward shortly after that fight.
Lewis turned down 25 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew Vitali would destroy him and tarnish his legacy.Comment

I want the Lewis nuthuggers to answer these 3 questions.
1. Who was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards?
2. Who was badly hurt, holding on for dear life and staggering around the ring like a drunk?
3. Who turned down 25 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a scared coward?Comment

Whose eye would have fallen off if they had let him fight on? And I'm a Vitali fan.I want the Lewis nuthuggers to answer these 3 questions.

2. Who was badly hurt, holding on for dear life and staggering around the ring like a drunk?

Unlike Lewis, Vitali has an iron chin, never been down.
Vitali also has great stamina, he always gets stronger as the fight goes on. Vitali would've KO'd Lennox "I got KTFO twice" Lewis if the fight had continued.Comment

I was rooting for Vitali due to the anger of seeing a shot Tyson get Koed, but come on. Had that fight continued Vitali would have needed a walking stick and shades.Comment
