What's a guy like him? Tall? Black? Skinny? Bald? Can you provide a legit reason here because you AREN'T!
It just doesn't make sense to me, especially since no one at WW is willing to give him a fight anyways. I think he shoud just stick at JMW or MW, and see where it takes him.
Call me ****** but...I could've SWORN that's what he did. He can make 147 and wants a big fight. I didn't know there was something wrong with that. You still haven't provided ONE reason why he shouldn't be at welter.

Besides, a champion has the responsibility to fight the biggest challenges. Right?

      So, here we are.
It's really interesting how you don't apply that rule to Floyd. He left the WW Division a "The Champ" right? Then how come he didn't do what an Emeritus champ should do and fought a WW? He fought Marquez for God's sake! Vladimir came back and fought Peter, Leonard came back to fight Hagler. Those are real men!

Well, it seems to me that nearly everyone else is trying to fight at the lowest possible weight. But in the case of PW, suddenly the rules change.

Paul Williams is desperate for the spotlight and is looking for a big name to make him famous. He wanted Pavlik, but now he's playing hardball. But Pavlik is a nice guy and would've fight him. He fought a prime Jermaine Taylor he aint scared of no Paul Williams.

Do I need to.. He's 6'1 fighting 5'8 guy's.. That's like Pavlik moving down to WW. Would you think that is ok.. I don't understand your logic that he should do whatever. It's to my knowledge that your suppose to move up in weight as your career progresses. Staying down at WW, when you can easily make MW is what nobodies do. PWILL is not a nobody.

Floyd is not a champion. He vacated the belt.

And the rules apply the same for everyone. Paul, Floyd, Manny...everyone.
If Manny wins the belt, he will have the responsibilty to defend. Or vacate.

You guys will have to get the story together. Is it that Paul doesn't bring enough money?... or not?

                1. Is there a height limit for welterweight?

                2. Can Kelly Pavlik make 147? If not, how is it like that?

Since when does everyone fight at the lowest possible weight.. If that were the case Manny wouldn't be fighting at WW, Floyd would stay at LW, arthur Abraham would have stayed at MW.. I could go on and on.

If Pavlik can make 147 or 154, I am ABSOLUTELY FINE with him fighting there.

There's no winning with you.. Your saying it's ok to fight at a weight in which he is far bigger then anyone else, a weight 2 weights lower then a weight he can easily make.. That makes no sense.. If you think he is some sort of stud for sticking around at WW then by all means think that, but what I think, is that he is a bigger guy picking on smaller guys.

It makes no sense, plain and simple... That's not how boxing works. I don't get how you think he should fight at WW, explain yourself, I have. What is your problem... Make a pointm because you have yet to. All you said is he can so he should, but in reality it's not ethical when talking about boxing.
