Whats the WAMU Theater ?

its park of Madison Square garden but its not were fights like Jones v Calzaghe took place is it ?

What is it like a seperate room or something. Just wanna know realy and what dose WAMU stand for ? Thanks.

It's a smaller theater inside MSG. Seats a few thousand.

It's the Theatre at (or more specifically, below) Madison Square Garden. WaMu (Washington Mutual) is the sponsor... although I thought they were bought out by Chase. But anyway, there you go.

It's the same room where Gatti fought Rodriguez; Shane fought Vernon Forrest; Hopkins fought Keith Holmes and more recently where JuanMa fought Mtagwa

Yea, it's a separate arena from the big one, where the big fights take place. Usually, they have the semis and finals of Golden Gloves in that theater and sometimes even other big fights. I believe Juanma Lopez fought Mtwaga in the Wamu Theater. I'm not sure where Wamu comes from but maybe it has something to do with a bank.

Hoping to get to the states some day to watch a few fights would like to go to see a fight at the MSG, MGM Grand, Thomas and Mack center, and Staples center befor im 6 feet under, gunna start saving next year for my first trip.
