Has Manny Pacquiao Developed a Attitude and Ego Problem?

He seems not to respect Roach as much as he once did, Roach even admits this. Roach says don't play basketball, but Manny did.

Roach wanted him to train at Wild Card, but Manny chose to train in the Philippines were there is floods going on.

He also semmed to come across very ****y and have a bad attitude, on the 24/7 especailly toward Roach at times.

Has all the fame went to Manny's head?

I had the exact same thoughts while watching the 24/7. If he loses Freddy who will he trust to be in his corner and who will treat him like family like Freddy does?

That crap you saw in 24/7 has been going on for a while now. Pacquiao respects Roach deeply as a trainer I don't think he'll fight without Roach no matter what Koncz says. Manny has had an ego but generally he's humble.

Manny does these sort of things from time to time. Remember, Manny quickly flew back to the Philippines without roach in 2007 for his training in the rematch against Barrera--and Roach had to fly all the way there.

I guess HBO is doing their job in making 24/7 more interesting. A lot of people have been swayed by the great editing job of the show.

We don't know when that game was filmed - was it before Roach told him not too play or after?

The look that everyone was talking about, the rolleyes, could have been from a different convo with the politician and then inserted in the right place to make Pac look like he was dissing Roach. It was an obvious cut shot. I didn't see Freddie and Pac in the same shot when they showed the rolleyes.

It's all storytelling and with two non-Americans and poor English speakers, the drama has to come from somewhere. I think their concentrating on the trainer/fighter/team relationship because both camps had issues recently.

Roach isn't going anywhere, first of all. Not with these checks he's getting.

Second, it doesn't matter if Pacquiao has an attitude and/or ego problem; what matters is that he's taking his training and opponent seriously (see: Floyd Mayweather Jr.)

He better don't since Pac without Roach is nothing. But we had seeing this before with other boxers. Even more when they have so many ppl around them all the time, like this Konzs or whatever his name is...

Roach likes Manny to train again in Baguio, Philippines after his recent assessment of the place. Cold climate, not much distraction, high elevation w/c is good for boxing.

Probably but it won't really matter. Pacquiao is most likely beating Cotto.
