What Do You Expect To See From Vargas Tonight?

As a boxing fan what do you think we should look for in Fernando Vargas's return fight tonight to determine whether he can once again be a successful fighter? I think it all depends on how fast he looks and how patient he is boxing.

Vargas could be a player at 160 if he can become a boxer/puncher like Arturo Gatti.

I would like to see him win in a KO victory while still showing some boxing skills, winning all the rounds

Although I think most of feel that Vargas will win this fight, Raymond Joval is one tough S.O.B. He suffered a broken jaw against Mora, and finished the fight. He has only been knocked down 1 time, and that was against Solimon. He also has yet to be knocked out in a professional fight.

Vargas should win, If he is to get back on track. This fight has the potential for an upset though, and would catapult Joval into the picture, if he were to win.

I'm thinking he may come out looking for a quick knockout, just to show everyone that he is back

Im not expecting much, I know I am really hard on Vargas a lot. But I feel he is damaged goods and physically the odds will be against him as well as mentally. The fight will go the distance in favor of Vargas, but wouldnt be surprised to see Joval get the shaft on the decision either.

Also this comeback will be more mediocre than his last comeback against vanderpool

He might be damaged goods, only time will tell but I think it will interesting to see how he boxes tonight.

Ohh I am very interested to see him back in action, in fact I hope he does well it would be nice to have him back in the mix. Especially since it will add another top name to the list of current boxers. But I wont get caught up in the hype.

He'd be a fool in that case. As has already been stated, Joval has NEVER been KO'ed and I seriously doubt a blown up Jr Middle will do it now. ****, Vargas is more likely to get KO'ed than Joval in my opinion.

Vargas is gonna look strong, but a little slow, since he will be not only fighting Joval Saturday night but ring rust as well.To be honest, this fight might look like Hopkins-Hakkar.If Joval wants to avoid being Kayoed for the 1st time in his career,he's gonna have to run every single round against Vargas, much like Hakkar did against Hopkins.Either way,I think Vargas will look decent, but against a questionable mediocre opponent.
