"He said here that left the flat fourth team because Pacquiao was cut in sparring."

I do not understand this. ???

Don't worry about the article Champ. The writer even said that Pac would follow up the KO prediction by Roach but all pac said was "I'm going to do my best". I'm quite sure Perez would retaliate. hehehe.

MANILA, Philippines - Contrary to traditional, have been the trainer Freddie Roach and boxer Miguel Cotto who have crossed charged comments.

Pacquiao has been left out of the verbal exchange.

The last episode took place here, where this week praised Roach Rican boxer while he forecast a quick defeat.

"Sorry Miguel but we're going to knock you out," Roach said with a smile.
                  Polls

In recent weeks, Cotto told Roach from Tampa, Florida, to be limited to Pacquiao train. Cotto's reaction was due to verbal Roach kept the game against the Puerto Rican.

"Tell Cotto that we do not need no judges because we're going to knock him out," said Roach, who objected to the referee Joe Cortez out of combat by having this blood boricua.

Roach back to the riposte, the coach said here that has convinced the outcome of the battle because, analyzing the work of training that have been made here since 20 September, his fighter has become a crushing machine.

"Before signing the fight, thought it was a struggle to go the distance. But by the way Manny has been hitting and the way he has been working, I feel a knockout, "he said.

Roach was here this week idolized by the fans of Pacquiao and was always available to the media.

It is the coach of the moment and the most successful in recent years. He has earned this recognition because, among other achievements, led to his Filipino boxer Ricky Hatton to knock him out like wildfire, which predicted several weeks before the fight.

Pacquiao, however, followed the steps to Roach.

"I never say I'm going to knock out a rival. I do not touch that. I always say I will do my best, "said Pacquiao, holder of 37 wins by knockout in 39 bouts.

On the other hand, Roach did acknowledge that Hatton Cotto is not a one-dimensional fighter has been knocked out in two of his last three fights.

Roach put Cotto several levels above the English fighter. He added that the Puerto Rican is therefore more challenging than Hatton, who fell in two rounds against Pacquiao.

"Miguel is a smarter fighter than Hatton. Michael can make adjustments during the fight. You can box and fight. That is dangerous. We do not know what may come, "he said.

Cotto has been knocked out only once in his career, this one by Antonio Margarito, who was suspended after a fight to bring illegal bandages. He received another three 'knockdowns'.

As an antidote, Roach has been seeking a four-flat battery to do work for Pacquiao to Cotto.

Head the group world champion Jose Luis Castillo, who lost to Hatton and who once was mentioned as a possible opponent for Cotto. Despite having been retired after his loss to Hatton, Castillo looks here in good physical condition.

Two fighters flanking him young, American Shawn Porter, a 160 pound mark is 10-0 with eight knockouts, and Mexico's Danny Escobar, a young man who is 140 pounds mark of 3-0.

The former mimics the Puerto Rican left hook, which is a natural lefty, and the second is for left-handed guard sometimes, as Roach says Cotto makes fighters against lefties, as Pacquiao.

He said here that left the flat fourth team because Pacquiao was cut in sparring.

"I told them I have a thousand dollars of my pocket for which he knocked out Manny."
FORTY-NINE WINS, not THIRTY-NINE BOUTS. How can writers afford to make mistakes like these? He just takes away the 15 fights in which he either won by decision/lost/drew, and leaves the ones he had KO's in? Amazing.
