he should fight still. He just got pinned with a fighter bigger and better than him. he should stay in his division. hes got a few more fights left in him.

Who can he fight to get it? I hope its an easy fight for his sake but theirs alot of tough fighters out their still left. Marquez has never taken the easy way and that is why he has taken a bit of punishment in his career. He had hard wins over Casamayor and Diaz. He took serious punishment in both fights but showed a warriors heart and KO'd them both. And he is getting up their in age.

I wasn't just looking at that fight, I was looking at his two previous fights where he had to fight extremely hard with taking punishment himself aswell. One fight doesn't ruin a fighter, multiple fights against tough opposition does.

It was the weight. He still has something left.

Paulie makes no sense for JMM. what's in it for Marquez?

I think it's over rated how much he "struggled" vs Diaz .. everyone has tough rounds in fights, Juan weathered the storm and fought well as the rounds progressed.

JMM should fight Kats then move up to 140 and look for something bigger

^ the Kats fight because a network would easily pick it up and it would be good to get that title defense out of the way.

Its called taking on real challenges.
