In case a lot of you aren't aware, Boxers and MMA fighters do actually watch the opposing sports and enjoy them. Most of you waste your time mocking it when the guys you pour your hearts out for find nothing wrong with it.

Hatton and Calzaghe both said that MMA is now better than boxing.

Big difference between better and harder. They said it was better because the best fight the best since they are no sanctioning bodies and multiple promotors. In MMA you are basically a slave and have no leverage to choose your opponent. That's better for the fans. But boxing is harder to in terms of its physical demands. Just in case you didnt get that.

the reason why mma is getting more popular is because of strikers coming into the game, who are some of the best strikers? boxers. Most guys in mma are training in boxing more and more now because they know it will give them a huge advantage. Boxing is one of the most practical sports and thats why im a huge fan of it. Im also a fan of mma and to call it mmgay is ridiculous, you might as well call a street fight gay too because most of those end up on the ground

why do people always say that street fights end up on the ground. Ive never seen a street fight get on the ground and if i would i would break it a part cuz its a fight not a battle of who can get in 69 faster. Neither boxing nor mma is like a street fight. A street fight only last a couple of seconds with two people going all out on each other with no refs or rules trying to knock each other out as quickly as possible. the most i ever saw a street fight last was 3 minutes.
