  • MMA Fighters With Good Boxing Skills...

I know Anderson Silva is the most popular guy in regards to an mma guy.

But there is another guy by the name of Joe Riggs in my opinion who started boxing when he was young and he actually did box before switching to mma ( not pro)

But yeah Joe Riggs is out of the big mma scene since 06 since his back problems and starting a family. But all and all back in the 04 to 06 he was known as one the mmas boxing specialists due to the fact that his stance and movement was that of a conventional boxer and since he wrestled in high school unlike other boxers he didn't have to switch to a squared up stance since his wrestling helped him retain his traditional boxing stance

Gina Carrano has good boxing form IMO. She looks like she could be a good boxer.

Some of the little guys like Jens Pulver and Takanori Gomi can box. I would also say Vitor Belfort, Andrei Arlovski, and Pedro Rizzo when he was younger. I also think that my favorite MMA fighter, Mirko Cro Cop could let his hands ago when he was in his prime.

BJ Penn is probably known as one of the better boxers in the UFC. There's a heavyweight named Junior Dos Santos who I think is very good with his hands.

          GOOD CALL on Jens Pulver!!!!

Jens did box pro and he is super respectful of boxing his like a poor mans oscare in a way his compact and scrappy with good combo although no were NEAR as good as oscar but thats alright.

Jen is very very unbiased and realistic and super respectful to boxing

GSP has one of the most effective jabs I have seen by a Mixed Martial Artist. He gets what it is used for. Most don't realize what that the most neglected of tools can do for spacing and ring control.

Rampage Jackson ever since joining the UFC, his boxing has been sick. Great counters with sick power. His textbook counter KO's on Liddell & Wandy are amazing.

Frankie Edgar's display on Sean Sherk at UFC 98 was phenominal. Also as stated above BJ has some sick boxing in MMA, just watch his display on Sherk.

Also the Diaz brothers Nick & Nate have had great success with boxing in MMA. Nate just showed it last month again Melvin Guillard that was a pretty good fight. Also Nick Diaz vs Frank Shamrock & Scott Smith.

i've always thought that miguel torres' jab was better than like 60% of the jabs in boxing today.
