Are handwraps the steroids of boxing?

Due to su****ion of steroid use, dozens of retired and current ballplayers will now find it difficult to get themselves inducted in the Baseball Hall of Fame, one of the most prestigious shrines in American sports history.

My question is, will it be the same for handwraps in boxing? Are we now going to scrutinize the handwraps of HOFers, ATGs and future greats and see who really deserves to be included with the best? How many ATGs or HOFers do you think had illegal or advantageous handwraps?

I think it's not as bad as steroids in baseball, but what do you guys think?

Boxers caught using illegal wraps should be restricted from the Hall Of Fame IMO... Steroid users are more difficult to punish as steroid use is so varied.

No, steroids are the steroids of boxing. Illegal handwraps are easy to spot and prevent assuming everybody does there job. Fighters can take advantage of the drug testing system for years and roid under the radar without anyone knowing (ie: Shane Mosley).

Unfortunately, boxing has both. Steroids and handwraps. But I think illegal drugs are more rampant.

loaded gloves should put the boxer, trainer, promoter, and the people who are in charge of checking the wraps and gloves; all should be tried for ATTEMPTED MURDER......................

there is no accident, there is no coincidence, just a pre-meditated plan............... attempted 1st degree murder.........

steroids should be handled with severe punishment from the sport and a non stop substance testing throughout the rest of ones career......
