    Could Pacquiao become "The Greatest"

I know Pacquiao doesn't have the most flashy moves but with the way how he keeps fighting the top guys, can he become the greatest?

if he beat cotto/mosley/berto/floyd/clottey and won a title at 154 you could make the case for it

I don't think there are enough opponents around for him to genuinely top guys like Robinson, Ali, Armstrong, etc..

Beating Cotto, Mayweather & maybe Mosley would place him above Whitaker as the greatest post-80s boxer though in my opinion.

To the TS question - NEVER! Whoever thinks so is delusional.

The same with the other thread around asking if Mayweather could be the greatest ever. Same answer - NEVER. Not even the best of his era.

yeah this reason. it's almost next to impossible for someone present or future to get past the top 5.

maybe just beating top 2 welterweights right now and maybe once in 154 lbs but thats too much to ask though coming from a flyweight division is too much fighting in a 154 lbs. if he can beat Cotto and Mosley then clean up the jr welterweight then you can make a case. but i dont want to see him beating those so easy because people make excuses if PacMan would destroy his opponents because haters would call Manny overrated or call his opponents SHOT, OLD, WEIGHT DRAINED, PAST HIS PRIME ETC ETC. maybe he is destined to be one of the greatest. we'll see next month. once he get past Cotto i wana see Mosley and Manny fight then retire from boxing.

                    of course he can.

all he has to do is beat mosley , mayweather , berto , cotto at 147 then santos , williams , martinez , spinks at 154 and then pavlik at 160.

then he can be #1 all-time imo.
