but seriously.......i dont think mosley would be well served to box.....he was much better boxing in his prime, but he still relied a lot on his athleticism and was still hittable.....i think and explosive in an out approach wouldve given shane much better results..........tito is pretty bad in his defense against quick short punches........so i think mosley exploding inside then getting out wouldve been a very good way to beat the **** out of tito.......if he fought outside, if mosley timed one of those kick like straights(be it a left or a right) from tito, he couldve been punished.......

If this fight would've taken place in let's say 2000, who would've been the favorite?

Trinidad KO's Shane for the simple fact that Shane will not try and stick and move for the whole fight. He is too proud and he will trade. Name one fight Shane stuck and moved for a whole fight..he always trades and he gets KOed in this one.
shane is much better with controlled agression....he looks silly when he tries to box post 2001-2 ish........seriously people who say shane is a good boxer are morons.......tito's power wasnt all that its cracked up to be....his best 147lb opponents took him the distance...and took his punches relatively well....he hit hard as hell, but mosley also has a great chin........the way forrest caught him in the first, 99% of fighters wouldve gotten KTFO....

Trinidad's best opponents at 147 all had solid beards. Stopping Yori Boy Campas is pretty impressive too. You're right about the uppercut Forrest caught Mosley with though; I don't know how in the world Shane lasted the distance.

Come forward fighters ain't beating Mosley no matter how unstoppable they were.

You have to box Mosley to beat him, Trinidad did not box he was a come forward brawler/puncher.

Let's imagine this fight happened around the year 2000 when both were in their prime.
If we talking about this fight taking place in the year 2000. Then Shane wins. Tito would be really drained to make 147. He starved himself for 2yrs to make 147. Just so he could fight Oscar... And, that happened in 1999. So in 2000 Tito would would be dead at 147. Shane dominated probably KO's him...
