I know that, but even early at 147 they were talking about how hard it was for him to make weight. I think this is why he was getting stunned by bums early on. Same with Oscar at 135 getting hurt by B level guys because of killing themselves.

Nah, Tito said it was a case of nerves early in those fights. I can think of only one time where he was ever actually seriously hurt and that was very early in his reign.

Furthermore, he made 15 defenses of his title, most by vicious KO. Plus, he got stronger as the fight went on. I don't think making weight was really an issue till the end of his reign at 147.

I was watching trinidad vs vargas early and let me say man that apart from this Mexico/Pr bull**** blah,blah. It was a great fight.
