i used to hate Khan when he first started coz he was ****y and big headed, but since he has gone with coach Roach wat a joke i have got a bit of respect for him. He seems to of cooled down a bit about keep going on about ****ty wins v priks like that Irish school teacher part time boxer.

But i do think hes hated over here coz hes a ****, my mate went to see him fight Prescott and he was ringside for some reason even tho he hates Khan and all he kept going on about was that Khan and his family stunk of Lamb Maddrass.

I hope u also hated every other young confident fighter who is up and coming. Most are ****y and talk about becoming champion.

Khan wasn't hated in 2005 the real hate started after the Prescott fight. Which was in 2008. Sure there is a few people that hate Khan because of his race but they existed when Khan first became popular.

Khan twice attended an amatuer tournament his rother was taking part in and twice was was run out by a section of thugs throwing racial slurs his way.This was before he ever fought Prescott

The major difference is Harrison was hated for his terrible performance against Williams. He threw nothing and looked scared as ****.
Then he got KO'd and people loved it.

Khan always gave it his all. His fights were always exciting, yet he was still hated.
i think people talking about his arrogance is just an excuse. Hes no more arrogant than other fighters.

only the north of england is racist. full of poor council estate chavs who blame everyone else for there lazyness. its these same people who are jealous of Khan and make racist remarks to him and his family. its no coincidant the bnp are popular up in the north.

Actually I read somewhere that Calzaghe was hated on in England for being Welsh so no, I don't think if Khan was white he'd be more popular at all.

Thats a bit of a sweeping generalisation and almost as bad as being racist. I come from a council estate in the north of england which is pretty much equal parts white, black & asian and i've never encountered any trouble between the different races. Everyone just does their own thing and the young people are all in mixed race groups of friends.

I'm not saying there's no racist people here at all where i live because there probably is but thats the same everywhere.

you are more likely to find racist people in council estates then in fairly well of places. who vote for the bnp? where are they popular? up north and its people from poorer families and generally are council estate chavs. nothing wrong with council estates but it is them who are the people who make racist comments abount Khan and his family. He would not have the this problem if he lived in London or in the south
