DiBella is crossing his fingers that Cotto beats Manny Pacquiao on November 14. He doesn't think Cotto-Mayweather will happen but Cotto-Cintron in New York has a good shot of coming off. Cintron returned to action last Saturday in Puerto Rico, stopping Juliano Ramos. He weighed 150-pounds, leaving the door open for a big fight at 147 or 154. [details]

Cotto-Cintron would be a good fight, but for Cotto there's really nothing to gain by fighting Cintron. He has a lot more to lose should he take this fight which is a long shot (IMO)... His best bet is to go after SSM or Fraud Mayweather should he beat Manny Pacquiao. Those are two good fights where he could make a lot of money and really cement his legacy as one of the best fighters of all time... All assuming he can get by Pacman.

beat and to me, there is NO WAY Floyd could make up any excuse on why
not to fight Cotto. The only thing I can see happening is Arum and Floyd
beefing which they shouldn't because Floyd should definitely get the
bigger percentage IF Cotto wins on November and negotiations for
Cotto/Floyd happens. That's the fight I really want to see anyway
to settle arguments that have been going on for YEARS.
You jindavertently hit the nail on the coffin. I don't see that fight happening because Cotto is taking a very small % for this fight and won't do it again. At min. Cotto, after beating the p4p fighter, will demand a 50/50 split with PBF. PBF will demand something like 60 or 65 and Cotto will just laugh and walk away.

Cotto Contron? April fools..... Just a ploy to make Mayweather think they have someone else to fight.

Who ever wins on Nov 14h will be looking to fight Mayweather for a big pay day as Mayweather will look to them. Only thing I see is even if Pac loses, Mayweather will fight him.

Cotto fights SSM or the POS cheating Marg and Possibly Berto. Cintron's like the back up to the back up to the plan B.

Even IF Cotto beats Manny, I still don't believe he should get an even
or bigger split because Floyd has done waaay more numbers on PPV
and accomplished a lot more than Cotto "Business and # wise" I would
say Floyd should get 60 and Cotto gets 40, just off of the strength that
Floyd just did 1MIL with JMM and Cotto hits his first Mil potentially with
Pacquiao who hasn't even topped Floyd with the same opponents.

            Yep, this is right.

If Cotto beats Pac, that gives him the right to get 60-40 with Floyd.

No way is he getting 50/50, he and Arum know that's literally impossible.

I just hope Floyd is ok with 60-40, cause that's reasonable IMO.

Cotto/Floyd or Mosley/Cotto rematch sounds good to me. I'm even
              interested in seeing a Cotto/Berto match. I was into a Cotto/Cintron
match a while ago but now I think there are a lot more better fights
for Cotto outhere. I really want to see Cotto win his first title from
an opponent. If Cotto rematched and beat Mosley convincingly this
time for the Ring belt and WW P4P #1 spot I would for sure give him
              his full props.

I still can't believe people think Floyd is scared of Cotto? Floyd
is so ahead of Cotto skill and technical wise. It's funny how many
have Pac as a favorite over Cotto but mostly everyone knows Floyd
would spanked Manny Pacquiao. I want to see Cotto/Floyd though,
but Floyd would beat him and I stand by that.

I would love to see a Cotto-Mosley rematch. I beleive deep down that Cotto does not want it again, then again- WHY SHOULD HE? Since boxing fans are always saying that the "triangle theory" is not applicable in boxing, then why is Mosley ranked the #1 WW if Cotto has already defeated him? What else does Cotto have left to prove in the WW division?... besides possibly fighting Mayweather, or re-matching Margarito (which could possibly raise doubts of whether his gloves were loaded or not)...
