Super Six - Should have been Super Eight!

First of all - Nice fight between Abraham and Taylor. Taylor hopefully recovers in order for him to continue in the tournament.
The Froch vs. Dirrell - Not so much...

    My real question is:
I agree, that the 6 fighters in SS are by far the best SMW right, BUT - I think we are missing two very important fighters right now:
Where the hell is K. Pavlik, and L. Bute?!

Pavlik is probably the best US-SMW right now, and Bute has the IBF title, and is undefeated. Why are they not in the tournament??

I have seriously thought about this for quite som time, and my only reason is the fact that the promotors had no faith in their fighters, or something to do with TV-rights and endorcements.
Any of you guys have an idea??

It's because Bute was already fighting Andrade.

Bute and Andrade would have been good additions to the tournament. It would also make sense, since they're fighting a week after the Ward-Kessler fight. Unfortunately, HBO bought the rights to show Bute-Andrade II.
