Jason Cruz I agree that last week s show was boring. The Mayweather/Marquez show was way better. Manny and Cotto are humble classy guys but their boring outside the ring.

@ Cruz, yeah, Manny and Cottn are not that interesting outside the ring. The Mayweather/Marquez was way better. But Cotto/Pacquiao will be a good fight. i just hope the fight doesnt suffer in ppv sales because of thier lack of personality because it will be a very good fight. Of course us boxing fans will watch, but will everybody else?

I thought it was cool, but Ive notice more then any other 24/7 ever there are others doing way more of the talking instead of Cotto and Pac. I was going to blame it on the language barrier, but then you see someone like Marquze get tons of talking spots even with his being all in Spanish.Comment

well I will say I liked this one better than the first episode.. Especially Manny's part. Cotto's part is losing its novelty to me. Yes, I get it, he has a fat friend and a pool and a grill. We gonna move on, people? lol. Liked the time he spent with wife and kids though. Also how everyone on team cotto shaved their head. lol. The sparring snapshots were weak though. PBF's bloody sparring partner incident was even better than that, and I thought THAT was weak too, for the record.
And as for Manny's part, it was cool seeing how much the people in Manilla really do love him. That was genuine right there... as for the LAX landing, that was staged, so I'm glad 24/7 glossed over it. Also it was funny when manny says "**** you Alex"..and his little dance in the ring when he was in Wild Card. I'm still annoyed they caption him when he speaks English. I understand his English about as well as Roach or Cotto's. I thought the part about how Manny was distracted or whatever was overdone. HBO is trying to cast him in a somewhat bad light.
And the part in the end with the classical music and the ponderous quasi poetic musings paired with slow motion footage was very overdone as well.
24/7 Likes to Do that though, so that's not this season of 24/7's fault, entirelyComment
