That's because Pacquiao is the P4P #1. That gives him the automatic swing where the betting line is concerned. If Cotto can't beat him given the circumstances, then he's not that good. End of story. And that's no slight to Pacquiao. I just don't know if his punches are going to deter Cotto at this higher weight. I'm sure he's capable of cutting him inside of his mouth and etc.

I agree with the Pacquiao part. I don't see what Cotto has that will beat Pacquiao other than being bigger.

There are no circumstances. It's all HBO hype to get you thinking. All reports lead to Pac approaching this camp just like he does any other.

I know what to say: cotto should quit if he can't beat a former 106 lber with this many distractions.

I honestly see Cotto as a crappier version of Barerra, with less stamina and skills. Just stronger and bigger.

As much as I dislike Freddie Roach, it seems like if it wasn't for him Manny wouldn't be anywhere near the fighter he is. Manny would be in trouble if Roach wasn't there to keep him in line.

As for Cotto, I think he's going to be ready. His camp seems very calm and there isn't tension that I can see.

Whether this will mean anything or not come fight time, I think it's apparent that Manny Pacquiao's is distracted by his outside the ring status. Some guys are good enough to be able to get away with it, and maybe Pacquiao is one of them. We'll see.
