Stallone's planning to make another "Rocky"???

Stallone to make another Rocky movie,”Rocky 7″?

At 63 years of age nothing seems to be holding Sylvester Stallone back from making more action films. Finishing up on his latest film The Expendables which stars a who’s who of action stars from Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, UFC fighter Randy Couture and cameos by Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger to name a few, and getting the green light for Rambo V: The Savage Hunt, Stallone now wants to add another sequel to the Rocky franchise.

The last installment titled Rocky Balboa seemed to be the perfect ending to a storied film franchise, but Stallone hasn’t closed the book on the Rocky story just yet.

According to Tele 5 Germany, Sly said:

“I know I’ll probably make a fool of myself if I make another ‘Rocky’ film after turning 60.

“I also know there’s gonna be a lot of criticism. Even my wife says, ‘Don’t do it. You’re embarrassing the kids’. But I told her, ‘If I don’t try I’ll be a really unhappy man.’

“You have to do it. Artists like me have to go through the dark over and over again.”

Stallone said he wants Rocky 7 to be “about becoming older, not about boxing but about myself.”

He could follow a similar setup to Rocky 5, where he plays the trainer. But this time make it work. With the right leading actor playing the new "Rocky", Stallone could reboot the whole Rocky franchise. Apollo Creed's son appeals to Rocky for help with training in his first world title fight..

wow that would be a great story indeed. but if sly himself wants a few more rounds then it will probably look bad. although i must say he's in INCREDIBLE CONDITION for a 63 year old!!!!!!

If he could pull off something like what you guys are saying, it would be great. I love rocky movies and with the last one I thought it was a good finish for the franchise but I have to admit that it takes guts from Stallone to keep pushing the envelope and if he delivers it would be great.

I just want to leave it like this, I prefer another Rocky than him doing another Rambo.

Whatever, I stopped caring after Rocky V. Stallone making crappy sequels doesn't ruin how great the original is.

Really though, what else could he do? Balboa in a senior boxing league?
