there are plenty of guys in boxing rec that were true warriors, always slugging it out no matter who stood in front of them firing bombs back. The thing is with many of these "true warriors" they lost alot of fights, too many fights. Being a warrior is nice to watch but does little for the boxers career in most cases. What ever happened to the word boxing. Today it seems that it means fighting straight on with little defense and little regard for using skill to win a BOXING match. Learn the game and learn the trade and you will also in time learn to appreciate the fighters that do actually posses boxing skills........Rockin'

Fans are important to a degree sice they pay your purses through Pay per View, tickets etc.. but its all about the win essentially. If Gatti boxed at times when he brawled he could have beaten Manfredy, Ivan Robinson and Micky Ward in the first fight. And that Samson guy early in his career. ****, gatti`s record could be 45 - 1!

Yep!!! He`d never have won that fight, Oscar was so much bigger. But apart from the Oscar fight has Gatti been blown away? NOPE! Mayweather doesn`t have the power to do it, but he has the skill and speed to dominate Gatti. But like Gatti said in press conference today, Mayweathers have bad chins. Rodger did and so did Floyd senior. IF....Gatti can land, then yes, he has a chance. Buddy McGirt is a bonus to Gatti in this fight!
