Near the end of episode 1 of the 24/7 show ... Roach approached Manny as he was speaking with a local politician - to state that he was leaving, for fear of getting stuck in the philippines. I don't know why he did that on camera, during shooting - Manny is talking with a politician, hopefully looking to help out people who are getting slammed by the storm. And there was no need for a power-play at that particular time.
It would seem that Roach is coming to the realization that his control over Manny is diminishing by the minute. And the more Manny indulges in other activities, the more Roach's getting pissed off.
All ready on the show he stated that both he and Manny agreed that he would not play basketball four weeks pre-fight - Yet Manny was out playing B-Ball anyway
Then, both he and Manny agree to leave the philippines the next day to avoid the oncoming severe weather - And Manny does just the opposite.
I don't think these issues will impact Manny's training or his preparation for the Nov.14 fight ... But it does seem to be a Tug-Of-War between Manny and Roach, right on camera.
