I know Freddie Roach talks a lot of **** , and some I can support and understand , other i see no point. If you havent seen the interview about margarito on hbo with freddie roach you should , its nothing amazing , but u can see what he says , and coming from a trainer that means a lot , margarito should've known what was in those wraps , period. And then he says cotto was doing great in that fight and all of a sudden , everything changed. It has a lot of sense behind what he says , and this is a topic that has been discussed a lot , but for all those people that still back up margarito , specially those mexicans that make fun of it because he beat cotto(a puertorican) which the rivalry its very obvious , that interview just proves that margarito knew what was going on. Theres no way ur getting your hands wrapped for like 15 minutes , maybe more , and u dont notice anything unusual , or even look at your hand wraps , comon.

I agree man, I thought marg deserved huge props for that win, but then after his cheating allegations were made. I felt betrayed. That's some st8 up b1tch **** right there.

Today even made me hate Marg more with the way that Miguels dad say that Cotto was having Blood from coming out from his eyes.

Luckily he made it out okay and healthy.

I think Margarito did cheat but Im still not 100% convinced that Cotto would beat him without the wraps and I definatly disagree with Roach, the OP, and anyone else who says that Cotto was doing so great early in that fight. I felt the whole time that from the 2nd round on, Cotto was a dead man walking and he knew it. Thats why he was on the run. Sure he was landing some good shots but everything Margarito hit him with was wrecking him and Cotto was swining moreso in defence of his life then he was controling the action. Margarito was in complete control of that fight from round 2 on and it wasnt even close.

Again, that doesnt mean that Cotto didnt win a couple of rounds but the point is that even when he was winning them, you could tell that it was all in self defence, and that Margarito was eventually going to get to him because there was no way that Cotto could keep up that running & hitting style for 12 rounds. It wasnt boxing, he was flat out running for his life and then throwing combos and then running again. Margarito was in control and Im not 100% sure that changes with normal wraps
