The 24/7's were created to generate interest in upcoming fights. It helps more if the lead characters are charismatic and have colorful personalities along with interesting backgrounds to intrigue and entertain audiences.

This is another promotional platform that the fighters should exploit to the fullest to sell their fight and, most importantly, themselves. In the end, it does impact their bottom line.

But, Manny and Miguel aren't and never claimed to be Shakespearean actors and, unfortunately, HBO and crew can only do so much.

i dont know what all the fuss is about....

its not as climactic as the other ones, but its a good documentary....

the narration is great and watching the two prepare for the fight is all im really interested in.

maybe im just a documentary kind of guy...

i'll tell ya this, im not into nascar at all, but i'll probably watch the 24/7 of jimmy johnson just to get a glimpse of all that really goes into racing a car and preparing etc...

        I'm into documentaries as well.

Tip: On hulu, they have the new season of PBS Frontline episodes. Good stuff.

Neither of these guys are going to play the antagonist role or talk **** about each other. So you can't expect much drama.

I just like it for what it is; a documentary providing an insight into the lives of two hugely entertaining fighters. November 14th can't come sooner.

Hopefully, they won't. Joost is another option.

Also, my Comcast On Demand always has "NatGeo Presents"

I'm strangely not that into it either. Probably because I'm so sure that I know the outcome of this fight that will be shocked if I'm wrong. The 24/7 shows are better when there's real doubt about who will win.

I'm enjoying this 24/7, obviously it's not funny like Floyd/Hatton but it's still good.

I did not realize it at the time, but I miss Ricky's jokes and personality.

Floyd/Ricky was the most entertaining 24/7. They both gave it to each other good.
