As I recall, you were saying before the fight that Gomez was in his best shape ever.

And you predicted he's defeat Vitali!

Why don't you be a man for ONCE, and give Vitali credit without those pathetic excuses.

I suppose I could dig up Paul's posts where he picks Gomez to win. Nah.

Vitali is very fresh for his age. He always stays in good condition and doesn't abuse his body. Gomez has been messing around for years, not giving a damn about his body or mind, and relying on his skill to get him by, not unlike James Toney. There comes a point when sheer skill alone isn't enough, and that happens against the best. Gomez coming off the Sam win in 2003 would have been a better test for Vitali. I by no means think he would have beaten Vitali, but at the very least he would have done much better, and would have had a chance.

Gomez has more skill than most of the heavyweight champions from the last 10 years.

His camp lied. I was gullible and believed it.

I'm tired of the haters that will never give the Klitschkos credit no matter what. No heavyweight out there can beat them, so they all better suck it up

What a pathetic hater you are.

You'd sooner say you were "gullible" than be honest and admit Vitali was just too good for him.

Adamek would destroy chinny Dawson at cruiserweight or heavyweight.
Hence the no rematch... Granted had Dawson been a 40 year old has been you would be crying for a rematch. Why don't Adamek push for a Dawson rematch then? We all saw the fight and know the answer - Dawson is a much better boxer. Haye is not as good of a boxer but he has huge power and Adamek can't put anyone out on a single punch China chinned or not.

If Adamek is even lose to top form as a HW, he beats Haye.

I think Adamek knocks out both Haye and Dawson at CW.
