can't really say i hate the guy...i actually like seeing him fight...the only 'knock' i have on Berto is his conditioning...i'd like to see him in better shape if he's gonna take his game to that next level

Here is a guy who JUST turned 26. He has already fought Estrada, Forbes, Urango, and Collazo. He has Shane Mosley scheduled.

      Berto isn't a braggart.

Berto hasn't priced himself out of fights
      .

Berto hasn't gotten in trouble outside the ring.

Berto always seems respectful to media.

I have seen Berto at a charity event in NYC. I heard he also participates in fundraising for his parents' native Haiti.

When he was in a tough fight, he didn't "Ortiz". He stepped it up.

      Why does he annoy you?
On the bolded he has before. Against Hlatwashyo and Mosley too.

          Shane Mosley: none

          Manny Pacquiao: Ledwaba (then MAB)

          etc......
Cotto at age 25 already had victories over fellow prospects like Pinto, Torres, Malinnaggi, Maussa, Abdullaev. Had victories over veterans like Corley, Bazan, Ndou, and Bailey

Hatton at age 25 really didn't have any fans outside of Manchester

Mosley at age 25 did have no big wins but didn't have a paper title neither, wasn't getting HBO dates against weak opposition. And, was pretty much a prospect coming up the LW ranks.

Pac at age 25 already won a lineal championship at Flyweight. Skipped 2 divisions and beat the #1 122lber at the time in Ledwaba went up another divsion and won his 2nd lineal championship by beating Barrera.

The problem with Berto is that it seems like he is getting babied by HBO. He won a paper title by fighting a Mexican cop. Is like his not earning his stripe he is getting all this HBO dates while fighting weak opposition. Only real good win is Collazo which he struggled in.

I seen Berto for years too. But, he dose not have knockout power. Ever since his level of opposition when up he has not had a knockout. He couldn't even knockout Cosme Rivera who is not the most durable guy out there. And, Rivera was not in his prime at the time. He didn't hurt Urango I know Urango has great chin. But, Bailey at 140 who dose have Knockout power dropped Urango and hurt him. If Berto had knockout power he would of stopped Rivera like Judah and Angulo did. If he had knockout power he would of hurt Urango at WW.

I don't know why people are hoping he gets Knocked out. But, I would like to see him prove himself. He has gotten a lot of HBO dates and against weak opposition. He has the right connection with Al Haymon who IMO HBO bends over backwards to satisfy. But, he has had like over 5 HBO dates but he really only deserved one and that was against Collazo. And, I think that is what annoys fans that he is getting all this dates with weak opposition. If people didnt get to see all of his fghts on HBO i think fans would be wanting to see him fight if that makes sense. Is like Mike Jones. Who has not really fought anybody worth mentioning. And, Berto has fought the better comp. But, I think is criminal that Jones get not get a tv date. And, a lot of fans want to see Mike Jones cuz we have not seen a lot of him. However, with Berto we see him on HBO so much agaisnt weak fighters. But, now we are ready for him to fight the elite.

Another hate-filled post directed at a black boxer. You're amusing with your ****ty posts, it's like if you didn't even watch the fight, like if you don't know Urango jumps in head first and is known for headbutting a lot.

By the way, Urango lost every single round in that fight.
