Roy Jones Jnr had moments in the Lacy fight where he looked like the old Roy. Not a cheap imitation of Roy Jones, but the real Roy Jones. Was it an illusion created by Lacy's apparently subpar skill set or do you think Roy Jones has finally returned and could he defy age like Bernard Hopkins? Roy Jones has said he's back on his game.. is he kidding himself or is there something more to it?
Is Roy Jones Jnr Back On His Game?

Nowadays I think Roy is similar to Miranda in that sense that he can look amazing when he's up against B-class opponents. But put him in the ring with the top fighters and he'll most likely lose. Today someone like Chad Dawson would do a number on Roy.Comment

Roy if in his prime would clean out every division from mw to cruiser. Too bad he isn't in his prime right now...
I think Roy made a good showing against Lacey.. While a lesser oppenent does make him look good, that's not what I looked at. I looked at his hand speed. It looked better then it has in years IMO, so let's see a few more fights then we can decide.. He's not getting any younger though, so I wouldn't count on him holding any titles now-a-days for long, if at all.Comment

Lacy is shot and it's not even up for debate.I'm pretty sure Roy Jones was saying the exact same things after he looked so good against a washed up,bloated Tito Trinidad, then he met a top fighter with a working pulse and he was exposed for being the washed up fighter that he really is.I expect Roy Jones to beat Danny Green and look impressive in doing so and then look like complete **** against Hopkins and quite possibly suffer the worst defeat of his career.Comment
