Why would Floyd fight outside of the US? Not only is it not financially smart but it isn't the way boxing has worked through it's history. Most American fighters fight in their home country just like any other fighter from where hes based. The only difference is that America is the mecca of boxing and whether its Las Vegas or NYC that's where majority of the big fights happen. So, when lets say a fighter from the U.K. gets huge he eventually makes the leap to fight America because it's looked at as the country that holds the very biggest fights.

very true,if any uk/european fighter wins a world title and has any ambition at all then he has to go to the U.S simple as that,it really annoyed me why Calzaghe never made it over years before he did waste of talent IMO as i think he would have become an all time great if he had done so.
