Mcguigan: Dirrell Beats Abraham, Froch Will Do Better

I stopped reading there.

He won a title against a once great but by then way past his prime fighter. He had two unimpressive defences against so-so opposition and then lost to someone who was far from world class, and retired soon afterwards.

He was exciting to watch, and had an attractive personality, but to call him a boxing great is ridiculous.

Dirrell made Froch look like he couldnt hit the Statue of Liberty if it were in front of him. Dirrel is an amazing "boxer" and showed that in outboxing Froch. Carl Froch is known as a "puncher" and he wasnt very successful in demonstrating that against Dirrell. So i agree that Dirrell will also out box Abraham for 12 rounds. In a Abraham Froch matchup i would take Abraham all day though. Froch is easily hit and very sloppy in his 90's impersonation of Roy.

I heard most of the Primetime commentators scored the fight for Dirrell. Can anyone confirm this?

kessler is really stationary, he might ko froch but i doubt he'd make froch look as bad as dirrell did, dirrell beat him on boxing, dirrell beat on the brawl, but that's because dirrell ducks, slips and moves, kessler does'nt

You make Dirrell sound like Cory Spinks. Is he really that good?? T.K. Stewart wrote that [paraphrasing} he stunk out the house.

I don't know about anyone else but Abraham's determination and fighting spirit, reminds me very much of Marvelous Marvin.

Dirrell has the speed and movement to cause Abraham problems, I still think Abraham catches him at some point and lays him out.

Froch would get knocked the **** out by Abraham.

Taylor was able to put Froch down and Dirrell was able to hurt him, Abraham is laying his ass out.
