Freddy Hernandez, Victor Fonseca Win Big in Laredo

Mexico’s 30-year old Welterweight Freddy Hernandez (26-1, 18 KO) made it ten straight without a loss on Friday night at the Laredo Entertainment Center in Laredo, Texas with a commanding ten-round unanimous decision over 33-year old Damian Frias (16-2, 7 KO) of Miami, Florida. Both came in a hair below the division’s 147 lb. limit at 146 ¼. [details]

The last fight is the one I caught with Hernandez and that **** was eye-bleeding painful to watch. Hernandez does not know how to turn over his punches right, I do not know how he has 18kos on his record, maybe he fought fighters who were extremely chinny.

The Fonseca fight was decent, Fonseca is very good, but he needs to throw right jooks and set up his punches better.

      The last fight was boring!!!!

Fonseca is the least talented of the 3 headed moster of prospects of PR.

ten straight? lol thats funny that obviously doesn't include the no contest embarrassment to Roberto Garcia where Freddy Hernandez was busted up and dropped then begged the dr to stop the fight cuz he "couldn't see"

fonseca headbutted the hell out of that guy he was fighting, he used his head as a third fist, then he held the guy and was elbowing and **** and finally the dude just submitted and got hit after backing away ready to fall from all the fouls. That was a very ugly fight. Super ****ty ref.

It shames me for fonseca to wear my flag on his back, he's a ****ty & dirty fighter with no skills just begging for the support of the people from PR, but he will never get it being the fake that he is. Can't wait for his Career to get D-railed which I know will be soon

Fonseca is a garbage fighter and his win should be revoked

Let's start with the headbutting action. Then on to hitting Seeger in the back of the head - TWICE. And throwing a punch after the bell rings is disgusting and irresponsible.

I can't believe that he wasn't removed from the ring for imposing so much danger on his opponent.

Seeger deserves that win. Period. And I have a hard time believing that the ref and fonseca can feel good knowing that Al ended up in the hospital with injuries directly related to the headbutt and blows to the back of the head. Al was ahead unanimously on the scorecard, (because he is a REAL fighter) and Fonseca decided to throw honor and respect for the sport out the window in order to get a cheap and dirty win.

As far as I'm concerned, Fonseca and the ref are a joke, and the tapes should be reviewed and the decision revoked.
