If you have a kid with good speed and train him in nothing but defense and shoulder roll, you'd have Mayweather.

With Pac you'd have to find a kid who's ambidextrous, fast, has gigantic calves, and crazy power for his weight class.

Logically it's harder find a Pacquiao than a Mayweather so I'd go with Pac being more of a once in a lifetime fighter.

I guess what I really mean is that you can teach a kid to become like Mayweather, but you can't really teach someone to become like Pac.

Everything that Mayweather has, you can learn, but you can't learn the physical attributes that are essential to Pac's style.

I personally think it's Mayweather because he's more fundamentally sound, more defensive, and adapts better mid way through the fight when facing a tough opponent.

Pacquiao is also a good fighter but Mayweather would have never lost to Erik Morales at any weight whether Morales was prime or not.

Plus Mayweather has fought more different styles than Pacquiao and is still undefeated doing that, while Arum/Pacquiao's matchmakers only match Pacquiao up with fighters that "come to fight" and who are not known for their defense.

Of these 2, I consider Mayweather as the "once in a lifetime" fighter. Pacquiao is more exciting to watch in most fan's opinions, but he's at his best against fighter who 'come to fight' while Mayweather is at his best regardless of what style a fighter brings.

Speedy south paws come and again, although I'm not gonna lie; Pacquiao is VERY unique. Very rare do we see complete boxers like Floyd Mayweather Jr. Especially someone with that good of a defense.

I want to say both but I'll go with Pac. That combination of power, speed and athleticism is unreal.

Floyd because of ring smarts along with his skills. He can find other ways to win if something isnt going his way, like Kev said he wouldnt have lost to Morales. Floyd would have adjusted and found another way, at least thats what I believe.
