Are we talking prime for prime? A slightly younger Joe (anywhere up to 2006/07) beats the piss out of Williams. No disrespect to Paul, cause I like him.

The current version of Joe, Williams wouldn't hurt him, so he loses. He's not winning a UD against Joe, he doesn't have the experience and ring smarts to beat him that way. It wouldn't be a one-sided beating, but there would be a clear winner. I doubt Paul would win more than 3 rounds.

I felt bad for Paul so I voted for him.

If a 147 pounder in Quintana(Not even top 5) can outbox him, Joe will beat him very soundly.

But if Paul forced Joe down to 160 things could get interesting.

A weight-drained Calzaghe at 160 not much credit in a win over that.

Yeah, but it's about Paul's only chance.

I pick williams because of youth and hunger. Calzaghe good but wha has he really beat. Old Jones and Hopkins. Eventhough in the first Quintana fight PW got out boxed. Joe could possibly replicate that are we could see the williams who sits down on his punches and if he gets Joe tostop throwing as much. He will win.

Hopkins of old is better than a young hopkins
Kessler the current 160 top dog
Lacy when he was unbeaten and was getting much respect. it was Joe that destroyed his career
                  byron mitchell(descent)
Chris Eubank in 97 who at the moment had onno lost to collins.

On top of that 10 years champion. Dont discredit Joe for sake's being.

On top of that u say if Pwill sits down on his punches, he has proven he doesn't know how to do that and is all talk. And how tha hell would he have been able to do so when joe would b going in circles to Pwills left...

Williams is more exciting than Calzaghe, which is why I like him better, but I think Joe would beat him.

Both guys have incredible workrate, but Joe retired at LHW and Williams is well, a LMW so Calzaghe would have his wicked way with him.
