I talked a lot of **** heading into the Vitali fight and Vitali shut me up pretty solidly, I cried almost as hard as Arreola did. Having said that, I still think Arreola is the man. Other than the Klitchskos with their height and reach, I don't think any of the current heavyweights can hang with Cristobal. Him and Tua would be an interesting scrap but sounds unlikely. Arreola would kill Oleg, Rahman, Sam Peter, and pretty much every heavyweight I can think of aside from the brothers. It would be interesting to see him in with Dimitrenko (sp?) to see if he can handle him any better than Chambers did. I'd like them to build Arreola back up toward a showdown with Haye, there styles would make for a great scrap and I would bet on Arreola to get the KO.

Hey I’m cool with him coming back in December! And if he wants to take on Tua, props to him! Tua’s a “come right at you” fighter, PERFECT, I think, for Chris….I went to Staples to see that Klit fight.. I think the reason he lost to Vitali, is ‘cause the big man was in & out…I mean damn, his footwork had me in awe
: ..but Chris never stopped TRYING..he just couldn’t figure V out..the way Dr. Iron Fist (would be a great **** star name, by the way)
fought him, there’s no shame in losing!…so what he cried..the man was FRUSTRATED! Working his ass off and NO BEER (aw hell naw!)
to get in shape and still lose?!...cut the homie some slack…he’ll be back! I’m still a Arreola fan..but I became a Vitali fan that night…that big-ass cabron can BOX!...plus..ya’ll sould’ve seen some of them Klitschko female fans…the majority of them = MAMACITAS!

Hopefully he isn't fightin Tua!!BoxingScene.com was advised that heavyweight contender Chris Arreola will indeed return on HBO on December 5 in the opening fight. Paul Williams returns action in the main event, with WBC junior middleweight champion Sergio Martinez as the frontrunner to become the opponent. [details]
Fightin Tua as a return after a TKO loss would be the biggest balled and ****** choice of all time.
Tuaman still got it.Comment

How's Hirsch doing now? Also, Giuliano better get a better stable of fighters. If he is willing to spend monthly stipend type money there are much better fighters that he could be working with other than Lattimore and Flores.Smith wanted a decent payday and McCline's manager convinced him to do the fight for free so he could secure the television exposure and a chance at a bigger payday. It was a gamble that paid off for Jameel. I don't think Jameel had to do it for free, but it was guaranteed to get Smith into the ring and a pretty good chance to shine. Plus Scott Hirsch was a pretty good manager and he paid his fighters a monthly stipend. Nothing extravagant, but it helped with training. That's how he was able to take the calculated risk. Not all managers are like that, Jerry Giuliano is, he has DeAndre Latimore and BJ Flores and probably a couple others I'm not sure who. But sometimes taking a discount can net you so much more. McCline realized that.Comment

Tuas dumb ass turn down this fight because of the pay-day? Is he dumb? Does he not realize how big his name would become if he had fought Arreola... Hmmm... Tua doesn't feel he can beat Arreola?Comment

Scott isn't doing too bad. He still has his promotional group that hasn't promoted a show (Hirsch-Borao). He has Omar Sheika and Jorge Teron are his two fighters now. But he isn't nearly as active as he used to be. He got burned by Shannon Briggs and JD Chapman so he let's Cedric Kushner do the work for Teron. And Guiliano just got into the managing business so once he starts to see a profit he might go for more. Latimore will fight anybody and Jerry loves that, BJ on the other hand is a little more particular. But Jerry is cool as hell and takes his fighters to Costa Rica to hang on vaca. He is a little turned off by the politics of the fight game so we'll see if his stable will growComment

Thanks! I didn`t know that!Jameel McCline fought Terry Smith on ESPN for free. That win got him into a decent payday with Nikolai valuev and then in with Samuel Peter for a good payday. Fighting Terry SMith for free made him $500k. So fighting Cristobal Arreola for $100K and looking good would make him millions against a Klitschko or Haye.
I think such dangerous opponents as Tua is not a good option after the loss...
He should get a tune-up fight before fighting somebody good!
And, despite the fact i like Arreola i would favour Tua over him!Comment

Im just not a big fan of this guy, while he comes to fight, i just cant get over how so many heavyweights today just dont even resemble fighters, and the ones that im interested in seeing, like david haye, are constantly out of action.
maybe eddie chambers might actually show up to a fight in shape so who knows.Comment
