    Margarito vs Pacquiao @ Welter in May?

    How does that sound? Huh, huh? Anyone?

    After Manny lays Miguel out, there will be no demand for a Margarito vs Cotto rematch. And Manny will be on top of the World. Floyd will surely negotiate himself out of a fight with Manny, so that one's out the window.

    The biggest fight out there would be with the returning, former Welterweight kingpin, Antonio Margarito. And on Cinco de Mayo weekend, it would be HUGE. By then, maybe, just maybe, Manny will have established a reputation as a bonafide Welterweight (small but able to compete with the best at 147).

    And if Floyd and Shane can work things out, then the winners can fight each other later in the year. Can you imagine that?

    Margarito vs Pacquiao
    Mayweather vs Mosley

    Winners fight each other! :wank:

    Hmm; sounds not bad; but still don't think Margarito deserves this big honour;

    he should fight Cotto right away!

      After Manny wears Cotto out, there would be no point.

          Margarina con queso should not be getting any big fights right away.
          Although, I still think he has some unfinished business with Mosley and Cotto but Mantequilla plasterito will have to wait in line.

            Haha yea bro; i'm sure Manny has this one against Cotto but Cotto should fight Margarito to show the world that something wasn't right that night he fought Margarito;

            We'll see .

              It doesn't matter what you all feel Margarito deserves. LOL, bottom line is, people will pay to see Margarito fight. Especially now because of the controversy that surrounds him. A Margarito vs Pacquiao fight would do tremendous numbers.

              The intrigue and interest for such a fight would be crazy:

              The size difference
              The plaster ordeal
              The only fighters to defeat Cotto
              Can Manny Mexecute Margarito?
              Cinco de Mayo weekend

              Tony would have to come back and win a tune-up fight in impressive fashion though, prior to a big fight.

                    if pac wins, he'll be fighting mayweather. No reason whatsoever for a maragrito fight to happen.
