Promoters kill the sport aswell as fighters retiring or refusing to fight. They are also the people who make it aswell.

While I applaud his comments in regards to MMA,this crusty old **** is hurting a sport I actually care about.After the cancellation of the Kelly Pavlik/Paul Williams fight,Arum has decided to pull out of the card completely.Clottey vs Quintana was a damn good undercard out and both men have now been left without a fight this year,Quintana even pulled out of a fight this weekend to take this fight and Arum has now left him without a payday.This was a selfish act by this crusty old fart and an act which hurts the sport itself.This is also the same man who continue to put unknown quan******(to the general public) on PPV. This year had so much potential and yet it's been a huge letdown for us fans.So man cancelled fights it's getting ridiculous and with all the deaths in boxing it's been a pretty cruddy year.I hope Pacquiao and Cotto live up to the hype

Why do you think the undercard doesn't matter? If you go to a boxing match are you like most people who show up right before the main event. What a waste of money. Obviously the most important part is the main event, but I still wanna see a bunch of good fights before hand because I love the sport and love to watch it. I'll obviously still be renting this fight, but Arum does put on real ****ty undercards. He could set up some meaningful fights that set something up for later down the road with a bit lesser level fighter, but he doesn't.

Cotto and Pac are a combination to make a very great fight.
