I know Taylor never listened to Steward but you cant help but think switching back to Ozell Nelson after losing to Pavlik only made matters worse for him.

Not his fault. Taylor has performed well in his last couple of fights, it's just that his stamina sucks. Whether it's his diet, his trainin, or just his over commitment to punches, that ain't Nelson's fault.

I didn't see him over commit to punches against Abraham. He just really got chin checked there.

I thought his gameplan vs Abraham was crap, double jab to the gloves and an occasional hook or body shot. I didnt really notice him committing to punches much and he wastes so much energy with his twitching/excessive needless movement.

Not true. After he got knocked out by Pavlik, he switched to Nelson and looked better in the rematch.

It would have been good to see Taylor stay with Steward. ES knows how to hide a fighters stamina and/or chin problem(s) (Hearns, Lewis, Klitschko, etc.).

He looked better in the Pavlik rematch because it was at 166. If it was at 160 he would have KO'd Jermain again. Stamina wasnt his problem vs Arther, it was just that was a better fighter and Jermain isnt the smartest guy in the ring nor is Ozell the best trainer. That was a terrible gameplan
