Ok, so when you are the slower fighter and you are trying to land something but getting pwned, what should you NOT do?

Carry on chasing and getting pwned, thats what!

So heres what you do instead, start running!

I'm serious, get your arms pumping like the 6 million dollar man and start running backwards!

Your opponent will be shamed into coming forward, and then.........BOOM!

I have said this before, run from the runner or just go to a corner and stand there and see what the runner does. I would literally run from Dirrell so fast that he would not know if I was chasing him or running from him.

the solution is easy: cut of the ring.

but that's a lost skill in boxing.

impossible when a guy is there to run. I don't care if your prime Foreman, you can't cut off a guy who's there to avoid fighting.
