Taylors fall from grace is shocking to say the least.

Taylor was set up for failure from the get. Even during his prospect days he was mostly beating up on undersized guys. This pattern of fighting smaller guys continued after those shady decisions he got over Hopkins. And when HBO realized he was a dud, Dibella had no choice but to put him in with a puncher who had the ability to check his chin. And after those two losses, HBO wasn't going to let him fight guys moving up in weight. He had no where else to go but to the deep waters. And those waters showed that he belonged in the kiddy pool.

I got a sore spot because I bet more after fight 1 because I thought for sure Hop would win 2nd fight easily.

Funny thing is that as soon as Pavlik K.O'd Taylor, HBO got on Pavlik's ****. Where as Cotto, HBO was on his **** even in his lost to Margarito and have never gotten off.

He won the second fight pretty cleanly in my opinion.

HBO has never been fond of black fighters to be honest. DLH can rack up loss after loss, along with Chavez and Gatti, and they will always get pampered.

I really thought he had his number.

I've made some good bets but I always remember the bad ones more.

For example, I wouldn't touch Pac-Cotto at the books for anything.

I got burned on a Pac fight before and when I made it up in his next fight I was still negative.

It's very hard watching a fight when you got a ton of money on it.

It feels like a job, ha ha ha.

IMO people are always searching for the next "GREAT WHITE HOPE". And when Pavlik scored the knockout over Taylor they went crazy. Merchant was probably the most excited about the win. HBO does tend to love Cotto especially Lampley
