I'm not bashing Mayweather. I don't mind him, and I don't **** talk him. It's just for me, p4p is "What have you done lately?" He's had some impressive wins, but that how long ago? You can't be ranked high based on skill alone.

Weight rankings are about accomplishment. P4P rankings are about perception of ability.

    Mayweather is #1 P4P.

Mayweather is about #5 on the Welterweight rankings.

I agree with you his last two wins were good ones, but two years ago
      then he fights a lightweight
he should be like 10 on the list or not even on it until he fights a top welter

Every real boxing fans with a brain knows that Mayweather IRL is the "de facto" number 1 in the world. Pacquiao, Cotto, Mosley, Hopkins...none of them have that incredibly natural talent that floyd posseses in the ring. Floyd is really above and beyond any of the fighters from the past 2 decades, the only problem is that he refuses to take risks against high profile fighters. And a fight with Pacquiao is not a risk, because floyd can just shoulder-roll him to an easy UD. It's fighters like Mosley, Williams, and Cotto that "could" give FLoyd problems.

            Mayweather is #1

But he should be around P4P#5 because he hasn't kept active and earn any higher rank.
