      The same could go for most combat sports, but there is something special about boxing IMO.

      It requires so much of its participants... EVERYTHING, in fact.

      The greatest fighters give more and dig deeper than anyone on any court, field, pitch, rink, etc, etc.

      It's so primal in its goals... the ultimate one being survival. As biological creatures and the result of millions of years of evolution, survival is something we can all relate to. Boxing connects to us on that level like no other sport can.

        I was born in to boxing. Just watched it since I was an infant in the couch with my pops. I watch any fight from fighters from any race, famous or not. I am fan of different fighters from different places not just fighters from New York or fighters from one race like casual fans. I think it's in second place in sport with the most nationalities, right after Soccer, that's also something i like about it.
