I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dennis. I had the pleasure of meeting him in January when I was called to his home for a repair service. While he looked familiar when his wife greeted me at the door, it wasn’t until our conversation turned to boxing that I realized who he was.

We had an incredible, in-depth conversation that truly impressed me. As a lifelong fan of the sport, I rarely encounter someone with such a profound level of knowledge. He was a true intellectual and a captivating storyteller; I left his apartment feeling more knowledgeable and grateful for the insider stories he shared. I was honored when he asked to connect on Facebook.

He is a tremendous loss to the boxing community. Please accept my deepest condolences.
