Comments Thread For: Derek Chisora will 'be doing Deontay Wilder rematch' after getting blessing from wife to return

Derek Chisora took such a long run up to his retirement, announcing after beating Joe Joyce in his 48th bout almost two years ago that he planned to leave after his 50th outing, it should be no surprise that, now, with 50th fight done, he?s finding it so hard to leave

I get that Chisora wants to continue, as an athlete it's hard wired etc. The wife needs to protect him from himself.

Look at the living legend Thomas Hearns, he was in worse shape than Arum at 90 when he the Hitman was 60. Hope he makes out of boxing ok and get to enjoy his family.

Pointless. They both should retire and if anything its Wilder who should continue trying to go for one last title run. Chisora lost his marbles if he really wants a rematch and for what getting KOed? Because if he wins no way he stays retired.

He should really use final fight to beat the tar out of Whyte - who was juiced to the gills in his 2 “wins” over Chisora

It is actually good business for both fighters to rematch each other 'because? The other mega fights for Deontay Wilder are vs. Anthony Joshua'.

But let's be real? Anthony Joshua potentially could so easily laser out Wilder within 2 rounds 'and I don't think that type of experience is something that would benefit Deontay Wilder in his life regardless of how big the fight is between him and Joshua'.

Note: Derek Chisora vs. Deontay Wilder II 'would be an even bigger fight than their first. Many people were entertained by the first fight, and they would all most likely be highly interested in a rematch'.

It is a very easy fight to market, as there is now a even deeper narrative between the two fighters 'it was a violent and chaotic fight, a straighter between two intense characters in the game'.

It is quite clear that both fighters do not intend to retire, so? If that is the case, they will be better fighting each other 'than some of the other top level heavyweights in the World. Who may be trying to increase their own resumes, achieving wins over Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder outside of their peaks'.

To conclude: I originally picked Derek Chisora to win the first fight, but? As the fight draw closer, I moved towards a Deontay Wilder win 'quite simply because? Derek Chisora has very rarely during his career won his biggest fights. Whereas Deontay Wilder in comparison has won many of his biggest and most significant fights, that was why he was a former WBC World Heavyweight Champion and defended the title 10 times'.

If the rematch was made between the two fighters, I would back Deontay Wilder for the win 'but Derek Chisora would be a live underdog in the fight' etc.

What kind of wife gives a blessing to get the crap beat out of you? Derek Chisora will 'be doing Deontay Wilder rematch' after getting blessing from wife to return. That is what the headlines say, sounds like a gold digger waiting on your disability to me!
