Daniel Dubois is a Legitimate Elite Heavyweight

Why would autism affect anyone getting a licence? It's not a disease.

You know that the autistic spectrum is wide. Often it affects the intelligence, behaviour, reaction, understanding... shortly said. It's not necessary to be a disease, and some diseases can't stop one from being a boxer ("disease" is an even broader term). But until proven otherwise, Dubois doesn't have autism.Comment

The lack of solid wins on fury record that aren't wilder or Klitschko have become more and more glaring
Fury has wlad and wilder
Dubois has Miller, Hrgovic, AJ, Wardley
Do the wlad and wilder fury fought beat those 4 on Dubois resume?
Again, it's arguable but there isn't that much in it👎 1Comment

Dubois is all of a sudden an elite heavyweight for winning a slugfest with Wardley?
I think not.
Other than beating an over the hill, glass chin AJ, he's been dominated by Usyk and Joyce, and done nothing.
This era of heavyweights are the weakest of all time.Comment

Well, tbf, he's up there in terms of Top 5 or Top 10 Heavyweights atm. He is a lot better than what people give him credit for. Idk why people write him off so quick and easily. Must've been the Usyk losses.
I picked him to win over Wardley. It was a difficult choice between the two, but I favored him for many reasons.Comment

Agreed.

However, Autism as a term purely regards issues surrounding sensory processing, communication, and social interaction.
What is linked is whether they may have a learning disability: mild, moderate, or severe.
Or yanks have levels I think.
Aspergers before they found out he was a na.zi was the catch all for an autistic person with no learning disability. Probably with some intellectual advantages like monotropism, rote memory or whatever terms they use for the Autistic savant now.
There is a higher likelihood of some physical issues in people with autism than the gen pop. Hypermobility, sometimes co-ordination, fine motor skills.
And then linked stuff like burnout after stress which to my experience (kid) and their peers is indicative to all autistic people from a kid to an old dude.
I wouldn't diagnose and it is wrong when people try and do that. But at the same time I do look and listen to him and see similarities to kids and adults I know. The en vogue title nowadays would be neurosp.icy or atypical. He's a spi.cy lad, imo.
I don't agree with adults getting autism diagnosis anyway - those with no or maybe a mild LD and no physical issues. If you've got this far and you're coping (masking) - you've figures out coping mechanisms. A diagnosis at an adult age I feel just allows adults to lean into the inflexible parts of themselves, isolate themselves, potential to damage relationships. Many people would very strongly diagree me on this view which I can understand, too.
Daniel is doing an incredible job. Incredible.
Kid is killing it.Last edited by Sparked_26; Today, 04:45 AM.Comment

- - Dummies of a Feather always flock together...This guy really has all the attributes, he's tough, solid chin, great power and stamina. His only question mark is his heart.
Aside from his losses to Usyk, he has shown himself to be possibly the 2nd best heavyweight in the world right now, his resume speaks for itself as well
Hergovic
Baby Miller
Anthony Joshua
Wardley
His loss to Joyce was a fluke, he was winning that fight, similar to Vitali Klitschko vs Chris Byrd.
He can have a very bright future at the young age of 28. I'd rematch Joyce, then go through a few of the B level competition like Parker, Okolie, Gassiev, before stepping up to Fury or Kabayel.
