I struggle to honestly say that Vergil is afraid of Boots when he's already fought and beaten Bohachuk and Madrimov. I just wish they'd stop with the BS and make some damn fights. Interesting how fast and easily Boots vs. Zayas was made.

Oscar always ends up beefing with the guys he promoted

        Floyd
        Saul Santos

          De La Hoya

          Crawford
          Shakur
          All left Bob Arun

Shakur, Haney, Canelo, Hitchens, Benn, Berlanga all left Eddie Hearns. So what is your point?

          Floyd and Tank were beefing

They probably could have made the fight if Boots and Ortiz were both determined to get it done. The problem is outsiders or third parties started to interfere with the negotiations and made it more difficult. I didn't keep up with everything that happened but I've seen plenty of high profile fights with a lot money involved be made fairly quickly. I'm almost positive someone started whispering in Ortiz's ear or something then that derailed everything. I would say it's Rick Mirigian if I had to guess.
